Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. Her fame grew in the 1970s and into the early 1980s due to her continual appearances in a variety of television shows where she was portrayed as a glamourous actress. Fairchild was first noticed in the role of Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow the CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. She starred in 1978 on the primetime soap show Dallas as the very first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress (TV Series Drama). Television Series Drama). In 1984, she appeared as a co-star in ABC's brief premiertime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985-1986 she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was also a part of theatre and appeared as a guest in TV comedies, such as Murphy Brown (for which she received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest actress in the field of Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill and Friends. Lawson's love for acting started from a very young age. She was born to an owner of a hotel in Kentucky and a homemaker from Louisville. The actress began acting in community theater shows in the age of eight. She was a graduate of the Catholic girls' only high school. Maggie Lawson began her career in the age of 8 beginning with theatrical performances. Then she relocated to Los Angeles for her first TV pilot when she was 15. She was just 15 when she moved to Los Angeles for her first television pilot.
